Panchayat Election in Rajasthan

BJP has declared list of the Zila Parishad candidate’s on Friday late night for upcoming Panchayat Election in Rajasthan. And list of Panchyat Samiti members of BJP has been provided to the concerned authorities. On the other hand Congress party has allotted their symbol. Congress has also sent authorized letter to the District Observers to provide those to authorized candidates of Congress for Panchayat Election in Rajasthan. Earlier BJP informed concerned member candidates of Panchayat Samiti telephonically.

Filing nomination for Panchayat election in Rajasthan has started from 7 January. Today, the Jan 9 is the last day for filing nomination. Candidates can withdraw their nominations up to Jan 12. Both congress and BJP are facing problems regarding ticket distribution for Panchayat Election in Rajasthan. Those members who were unable to get tickets for Panchayat Election in Rajasthan from their respective parties are showing disagreement regarding ticket distribution. Voting will occur in three phases on Jan 20, 29 and Feb. 2.

The real picture of the election will be clear after withdrawals. Main opposition party, BJP can raise the issue of recent hikes in food grain prices especially in sugar price in their campaign. Large number of candidates from smaller parties and independent candidates are also fighting in this election.
