Playboy Model's Burning Body Found in Miami Dumpster

MIAMI, Florida - When firefighters were called to a burning trash bin Sunday night, they found a body so badly burned it could not be determined what the race was or whether it was a male or female. The body was identified Tuesday night by dental records to be Playboy model Paula Sladewski. Police are saying she was probably dead before being set on fire, the killer trying to destroy the evidence.

Sladewski, 26, had traveled with her boyfriend, Kevin Klym, 34, to Miami to see Lady Gag Gag and celebrate the New Year. She was last seen at Club Space having a shouting match with Klym. It was reported the bouncers threw out Klym and he took a cab back to the upscale Fontainebleau hotel where the couple was staying. Sladewski reportedly stayed at the club.

Klym told the Miami police his girlfriend was drunk and he was trying to convince her to leave the bar. He said the two became separated after having an argument. He told police the last time he saw his girlfriend was around 7 a.m. Saturday. He filed a missing person's report on Monday when she failed to return back to the hotel.

North Miami Police spokesman Lt. Neal Cuevas said Klym is cooperating with the cops. Cuevas stated, "He's considered a person of interest as would anyone who last saw her alive." Cuevas also stated, "Whoever the murderer is, they are nothing short of a monster. It's so horrific. They'd have to be a monster. It's a dastardly act. It's the most heinous thing that a person can do to another person."

Richard Watkins, Sladewski's stepfather told Fox News he wasn't surprised Klym was named as a person of interest. He said the couple had been together for two years and had a horrible relationshp. He said Klym was arrested about a month ago for breaking his step-daughter's nose.

Watkins said since Sladewski disappeared, he's been on the phone with her ex-boyfriend who lives in California. He told Watkins she text messaged him, saying she was afraid of Klym and he was trying to kill her.

Watkins said Sladewski visited him and her mom in Michigan right after Christmas. He said she seemed happy and like her usual self.

This story has a lot of similarities to Playboy Bunny Jasmine Fiore’s mutilated body found stuffed inside a suitcase in a dumpster in California less than five months ago.
