As newer genres of filmmaking are explored, it's amazing how the screenplays and stories are filled with new ideas and concepts. For example Ranbir Kapoor is soon going to hit the big screen as not your typical hero, looking like a cool dude, showing off his six- pack, instead he will be seen as just another man going for just another job, which is a job of a salesman in this film. Yes a salesman! Who always has something new up his sleeve. He is filled with ideas and concepts that he believes are original and ground breaking. It's for the very first time that we would see Ranbir playing a turbaned sikh character with an undying optimism. His new look has caught just as many eye balls as his witty remarks that have become a rage. This Yash Raj film that goes by the name Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year is directed by Shimit Amin, of Chak De India fame and the dialogues of the film are written by Jaideep Sahni of Khosla Ka Ghosla fame. The film also marks the debut of Shazahn Padamsee
