Her voice is funky and shrill; sometimes country..sometimes bluesy and often choosey. She sings like Sarah MacLachlan and writes a bit like Joni MitchellJoni Mitchell. She sings what she believes, and, like Merle HaggardMerle Haggard, she sings herself back home.

Home is on the Queen Charlotte Islands...misty, mythic islands fog-bound and Haida hiding off the west coast of Canada. She is a health practitioner there with 3 teenage kids. She is a "country girl" at heart with a Restless Soul singing of Love and loss; loggers and unchartered waters; tree-huggers and herbal teas. She aims to please.
