Indonesia deeply dissapointed with the Swiss decision to ban construction of minarets Mosque in Switzerland.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty M Natalegawa.said Indonesia deeply dissappinted with the newly Swiss government decision which through their referendum the majority of 22 provinces of the total of 26 provinces to ban construction of minarets in Switzerland.

‘’This policy is similar to the human right inequality and against the freedom of the peoples to chose their religion,’’ Natalegawa said in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

According to the US Center for World Mission, Islam is the second religions with more than 1, 5 billion (19,6% of the world population base on 2000 census), in the world after Christians which total members of more than 2 billions (33%). Other dominant religions in the world are Hindu (13, 4%), Chinese Folk 6,4%, Sikhs 4%, Jews 2%, New Religionist 1,7%, Ethno Religionists 3,8%, Atheists 2,5%, and Non-Religious 12,7%.

I support Switzerland against the minarets, not only Muslim but Christian
ones also. Those kind of things are old fashion because the reason they were originally built for, was to look out for enemy troops marching in to
attack. They can also be used as prisons like the Tower of London so down
with the minarets. 2/12/2009.
