Situations vacant: destination Mars

No matter what others might say, the Mars mission is very much on. The European Space Agency is on a recruitment drive – they want half a dozen committed individuals, men and women, who would volunteer to remain captive in a Mars simulated environment for at least 520 days without any break. The candidates must be at least 6 feet tall and be knowledgeable enough about science and technology. They would have to even practice how to travel on surfaces that are similar to that of the Red Planet. The plan would be set in motion in 2010 – after their stint of 520 days, the group would probably feel, think and behave like Martians!!
