MAN MURDERS FAMILY IN KANSAS
James Kraig Kahler has been arrested for the murder of his wife and daughters. He is also being charged with aggrivated burglary and the attempted murder of his wife's grandmother.
Kahler, 46, was the former director of the Water & Light Department in Columbia, MO.
Authorities have accused Kahler of the attempted murder of Dorothy Wight, the grandmother who is 89 years old. Aggrivated burglary has been added to that since they believe he had broke in to commit the crimes.
He is charged with the capital murder of his wife Karen, 44, daughter Emily, 18, and daughter Lauren, 16.
