When Dana Perino was serving as Dubya Bush's media spokesperson, it was often apparent that she wasn't too bright.
Either that or she did a wonderful job of toeing the line of what Bush, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove wanted her to say.
Well, Our Dubya has been back in Texas for nearly a year, but Perino is still doing her job for the administration.
On Fox News the other night, she said President Obama was playing politics by refusing to describe the massacre at Fort Hood as a terrorist attack.
"We should call it what it is. We did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush's term. I hope they're not looking at this politically. I do think that we owe it to the American people to call it what it is."
Sean Hannity, who has shown time and again that he might be the most dishonest man in broadcasting, not only didn't contradict Perino, he agreed with her.
Tell me something, though. Exactly who was president when those planes hit the Twin Towers and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001?
Wasn't it the "My Pet Goat" guy?
Actually, since Perino has shown so little respect for the truth, I think it would be reasonable if she were to make the following accusations as well:
1. There were no problems at all with the economy until after Obama took office.
2. Obama actually told the Fort Hood shooter to kill as many Americans as possible.
3. Obama takes his orders directly from Saddam Hussein (who isn't really dead).
4. Obama not only wasn't born in America, he wasn't even born on planet Earth.
There's more, but that seems like a pretty good start.
