During an NBA season, every team will have its share of injuries. However, for the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks, the season has become survival of the fittest. The Warriors had five people out to various injuries and the flu and had the coach Don Nelson missing from the bench due to pneumonia. The Mavericks started the basketball game with three starters out due to a myriad of injuries, and a fourth starter, Quintin Ross, was unable to play in the second half of the game due to a strained back. The Warriors only ended up playing six people the entire game and defeated the Mavericks 111-103 with a 33-21 advantage in the fourth quarter. You would think that since three of the Warriors playing the entire game, fatigue would have set in. However, Golden State was able to muster up enough strength to defeat Dallas at the end in Dallas. This win with only six players has not happened in the NBA since 1952. I knew that the Warriors have had the Mavericks' number for the past three years, but winning a game with less than half of the team is absolutely outrageous.
