24 year old Peter Davis was arrested on resisting arrest, driving down the wrong way on a interstate highway and two counts of attempted murder when he was speeding on Interstate 10 when Louisiana State Troopers attempted to give him a speeding ticket at Exit 233 in Slidell. Peter then turned on the median and drove against interstate traffic and went to the Lakeshore Villas subdivision when police attempted to stop him at a dead end when he drove thru the policeman's car and sped off toward Oak Harbor Boulevard where his car was hit by spike strips placed by a Saint Tammany Parish police officer. Even though two of his tires were damaged the driver then got on Interstate 10 where his car ran off the road and when the state troopers ordered him to surrender Peter refused to surrender the police shot at his car and the driver was arrested and taken into custody.
