Italian authorities say police arrested two Pakistanis Saturday, suspected of helping fund and providing logistical support for last year's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India that killed 166 people.

Italian authorities say police arrested two Pakistanis Saturday, suspected of helping fund and providing logistical support for last year's terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India that killed 166 people.

Police said in a statement that the men were identified using leads from Indian authorities and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The statement said the two allegedly sent funds overseas using a money transfer business they owned in the northern Italian town of Brescia.

The two are accused of transferring money to pay for the Internet phone calls of people in direct contact with the attackers.

Two other Pakistani citizens were arrested in the investigation and accused of other crimes.

Ten militants killed 166 people in a three-day assault on luxury hotels, a Jewish center and other sites in India's financial capital.
