Security beefed up in Peshawar

KHYBER AGENCY: Safety measures for several offices of the security forces have been improved further after threats of suicide attacks from the terrorists on Sunday.

It was learnt that investigation wing of the Frontier Police has received threats of suicide attacks from terrorists, prompting the authorities to tighten security in and around the buildings where these offices are located.

A source disclosed that seven special teams were interrogating the militants arrested during the past several months. Terrorists have recently hurled threats to bomb the offices of the investigation wing in the province. “Office of the Deputy Inspector General (Crime Branch) located on a roadside has been directed to improve security to avert any attack on police establishment,” a source disclosed
