Recorded and produced by the band's guitarist Chriss Walla, 7th studio album and 2nd major-label album was released on May 12 in the UK and May 13 in the US under Atlantic Records.

It has gotten overall positive feedback from major reviews. The album's lead single single "I Will Posess Your Heart" has been out since March 18.

Recorded at Two Sticks Audio (Seattle, Washington), Tiny Telephone (San Francisco, California), Robert Lang (Seattle, Washington), and The Alberta Court (Portland, Oregon). Mixed at The Alberta Court except Track 2, mixed at Smart Studios (Madison, Wisconsin), and Track 9, mixed at Metropolitan Sound (Brooklyn, New York). Mastered at SAE Mastering (Phoenix, Arizona)
