Eastwick to Vanish

ABC has announced plans to cancel the witching drama "Eastwick" after the initial 13 episodes. Last week the bewitching drama saw fans disappearing with less than five million viewers.
"Eastwick" is another drama is another show that was taken from a movie - the 1987 "Witches of Eastwick". the movie was based on the book by John Updike.
"Eastwick" airs on Wednesday nights at 10pm opposite the popular CBS drama "CSI: NY".
Other shows that have been cancelled are the ABC sit-com "Hank" which never got enough ratings. It is unclear whether or not the remaining shows already shot will air.
Th FOX show "Dollhouse" will not air after the current episodes have been aired.
"The NBC show "Trauma" has also died and it is not known at this time whether its remaining shows will see life.

Yes a show's life depends on the number of people who watch it; but in recent years networks are quick with the hook,seldom giving viewers a chance to get a look at the show and others are reluctant to watch for fear of getting interested in a show only to see it yanked out from under them.
I haven't seen any of them. The ads didn't interest me. The only new show this season I have seen is "The Forgotten". I think it is pretty good but apparently it isn't doing well.
