Roll with The Tide

As a female viewer of football,i had to really watch the games to figure out what was going on.The game between Alabama and LSU yesterday was really something. As injured Lsu players were assisted off the field,I was reminded of the movie The Longest Yard [Burt Reynolds],when the prisoners played the guards.

Alabama coach Nick Saban said of the game,"It was a tough, physical game.Man,those games are fun to be a part of."

It was touch and go for Alabama for a while but Julio Jones made the biggest play in what has been a mostly quiet season, breaking free with a 73 yard touchdown in the 4th quarter.Final score 24-15.The win kicked off another big celebration for Alabama, who had a 12-10 victory over Tennessse two weeks ago, with Alabama's Terrence Cody blocking two field goal attempts in the fourth quarter. The win over LSU earned Alabama a rematch with Florida for the league championship.Alabama is 9-0 for the second consecutive season, which has not occured since 1973-74 under coach Bear Bryant.

I am reminded of how Alabama Crimson Tide got it's name.A sports announcer was commenting on the game years ago and said"Alabama looks like a crimson tide rolling across the field".As a die-hard Bama fan all i can say is"Roll Tide Roll!

Let me see LSU Fighting Tiger fans are mad because Nick Saban left LSU to coach the NFL Miami Dolphins since Nick wanted to coach in the NFL. And after he doesn't make to the playoffs he gets paid a king's ransom to coach the Alabama Crimson Tide. Buyer beware if the Crimson Tide win the National Championship and Nick gets an offer to coach another college team if the price is right.

I hope I am wrong based on Nick Saban leaving Michigan State University to go to LSU then to the Miami Dolphins then he got paid his outsrnading salary to coach the Crimson Tide. Ther are a lot of LSU fans who have never forgiven him for leaving LSU for the NFL and then to the University of Alabama.
