20 militants killed in SWaziristan

At least 20 militants were killed in skirmishes with security forces in South Waziristan tribal region in last 24 hours. Eight security men including an officer were injured during clashes.

According to a statement of ISPR Sunday, security forces captured large cache of arms including machineguns during search operation in Sararogha, Raghzai, Sagar Langer, Totikhel and Bahadarkhel areas.

Security forces arrested 18 militants during the operation, while three others laid down their arms.

According to the statement the forces continued relief activities and distributed 8,836 Cash Cards in the displaced families of South Waziristan.
