President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir on Saturday registered his name in the voters register at Martyr Ibrahim Shams-Edin Centre, geographical constituency (36), Khartoum. In press statement following the registration, President Al Bashir said voters registration is conducive to electoral .

process and democratic transformation and urged the citizens to register their names for the forthcoming elections scheduled for next April. Head of the National Election Commission, presidential advisors, ministers and state ministers, Khartoum State governor, representatives of political organizations and large gathering of the citizens have attended to register their names.
