Baby clothes

Why is it there are infant clothes in size 12 months and 18 months but nothing inbetween? 12mos is too small, and 18 mos is too big. What is my little boy supossed to do, go naked till he can finally wear what the clothing manufacturers say he can wear?

That is a problem. Maybe it's better to buy the 18 month clothes and sew it in, then when he gets bigger, pull out where you sewed it.
