Peshawar, November 07, =The Afghan female who was confirmed Swain flu positive died on Saturday in private hospital of Peshawar. The forty years old lady was shifted from Afghanistan to the hospital where doctors had tested her blood for Swine Flu.

The patient Latifa from Herat province Afghanistan was admitted in North West Hospital and Research center Hayat Abad after having high temperature which could not be controlled despite giving her high medicines. The hospital administration through NWFP health department had sent its blood symptoms to National Institute for Health (NIH) which confirmed her for Swine flu.

According to East and West hospital’s management , Hayatabad Latifa also gave birth to a child in the same hospital who was apparently healthy but still blood symptoms of the bay also been sent to NIH for Swine flu test. Blood of her close relatives had also been collected and sent to NIH for the test.

The hospital administration also confirmed that blood symptoms of the medical staff had involved her treatment had also been collected and sent to NIH.

Hospital management confirms the death for Latifa after her dead body was shifted to Afghanistan where she would be buried in Southern Province Hirat. However it could not be ascertained either the newborn was still in hospital or relatives shifted him also to Afghanistan.

Latifa was the third Swine flu patient confirmed in the Pakistan as two other patients came from Dubai were also confirmed Swine flu and they were admitted to Pakistan Instituted of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
