East Coast vs. West coast, east wins!

We have all heard the phrase "go west young man" well I am here to say that they lied to you. I grew up out west in northern California, Arcata California to be exact. Arcata is a nice town, it has huge redwood trees, clean air; however it has no arts culture, no business opportunities, hardly an economy, no good medical facilities, and they manufacture(maybe logging, is that manufacturing though?) nothing there. I say this from experience, as I have travelled the entire west coast, top to bottom.

The west has Stanford, Berkeley, and UCLA, as their league universities. These schools are good, maybe even great, but think of how many universities of high caliber are out east, Yale, Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Dartmouth, etc. Also the west is mostly desert in the south, while the southeast is even more forested than the northeast. The sports are better out east. Think of all the teams out east, from Buffalo to Miami, and all in between. This doesn't include all the college sports.

To me there is no comparison, living out east is much better, all the rivers, lakes, fishing and hunting I desire. Schools of high stature, and great rivalries in sports. Makes me wish I had moved out east earlier, sorry west coast, you are nice, but no comparison. Hooray for the EAST.
