Tiger Stunned at his Loss

Even though Tiger Woods took a share of the HSBC Champions lead on Friday, Phil Mickelson edged closer to mimicking his checker’s victory over the World’s number 1 golfer by shooting one less than Tiger in the second round on Friday. Woods birdied 5 of his last ten holes to grab a share of the Shanghai tournament with Nick Watney. Mickelson shot a low round of 66 to hover one behind the leading duo.

Woods and Watney have recorded a 36-hole score of 134.

Mickelson has carded two rounds equaling 135.

Do you think Phil can duplicate the checkers crown?

Stay tuned. We’ll see.

I have seen him live about three times. Most impressive was when he was in a playoff with Rocco Mediate (who I love) for the '08 US Open at Torry. On a broken leg that hurt with each swing, he winced and grimiced his way to a 14th. I agree. The best is yet to come.
