Indonesian politics more intention on over an alleged plot to incriminate Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)

Indonesian politics in the last two weeks more intention on over an alleged plot to incriminate Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). One of the member of fact-finding team, led by noted lawyer Adnan Buyung Nasution, Anies Baswedan said in Jakarta, Friday, November 6, 2009, Indonesian members of parliament of commission of three who have a hearing with Indonesian Police in Chief and his team on Thursday November 5, 2009 look like a Police speaker and police public relations.

‘’I think they do not have an objective hearing. They look like support more to the Police Institution than members of Corruption Eradication Commission,’’ Baswedan added.

Meanwhile a fact-finding team today begins questioning Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji, who had just resigned from the National Police chief of detective post, over an alleged plot to incriminate Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputies on Friday afternoon.

Susno's name was mentioned in a wiretapped phone conversation between Anggodo Widjojo and allegedly several high ranking officials of the police and the Attorney General' Office (AGO), allegedly plotting to fabricate evidence to frame KPK deputies in criminal cases.

Susno and Deputy Attorney General Abdul Hakim Ritonga have resigned following public pressure.
