The never-say-die couple
He is a librarian in the prestigious Jadavpur University Library of Kolkata and he holds a degree in Law apart from being a visiting faculty in a polytechnic. He is leaning to write with his left hand now because he lost his right forearm when a bus, travelling from the opposite direction, tore it off while he sat beside the window watching the busy roads passing by. His wife was also seriously injured – she was in the seat ahead of his and lost the right arm from her shoulder. She is still in hospital even after 10 weeks. Both are determined to begin life anew.
