With this week being the one year anniversary of the '08 Presidential Election, I am forced to reflect on this, a minor glimpse of the intense Police presence that surrounded the Democratic National Convention, last August '08. Now that we have attained majority democratic control in the American political arena, where does the Police State stand? Has any change taken place to cut the ever expanding budgets of our "Law Enforcement Agencies"? Especially in this time of economic peril, where do our priorities really lie as a Nation of taxed citizens? The more we excel in education and keeping families properly nourished and together the less we will see a requirement of inflated police presence in our communities. The fight is not over just because we put Obama in the high-seat. We must demand as an educated populace that our ever diminishing money be spent in the areas which PROGRESS our society not REPRESS it.
