UNIC likely to put off Pakistan’s visit

United Nations Inquiry commission (UNIC) has requested Pakistan Government to record the statement of ex-president General (Retd) Pervaiz Musharraf.

The chairman of UNIC has written a letter to Pakistan government.

The chairman of Benazir investigation commission has asked the Pakistani government to take fool-proof security measures.

In his letter, he termed the Pervaiz Musharraf’s statement as crucial.

The chairman of UNIC has insisted the Pakistani government for arranging meetings with army, ISI leadership and their representatives.

Sources said that Pakistani officials have requested the UN commission to delay the visit due to prevailing security conditions in the country.

UNIC is likely to postpone its visit to Pakistan once again.
