Destabilization of democracy will not allowed: President Zardari

The delegation of JUI, led by

Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman met President Asif Ali Zardari.

President Zardari said on this occasion that nobody will be allowed to

destabilize democracy. Country’s political and peace situation was

also discussed in the meeting held at the Presidency. Zardari also

said that PPP has always been a step ahead regarding democracy and

will continue to do so. NRO was not presented in the parliament,

keeping in mind the perspective of the allies, he added.

Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said that JUI is an ally of the government and

all the promises made by the government, will be fulfilled. A

committee had been formed to solve the matters between both the

parties and Dr. Baba Awan will be its convener. During the meeting,

views were also exchanged upon the Waziristan operation and the

internally displaced persons.
