Yaangan: Mianmar democracy movement leader and Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi was visited by the American Minister Kurtz Campbell here. The two met in a hotel here and held discussions for two hours. It is for the first time that Suu Kii met a foreign dignitary after 1995. The visit of an American minister and his scheduled meeting with the military junta is an indication that President Barrack Obama has deviated from the police of George Bush to isolate Mianmar rulers, say political analysts. Suu Kyi has come out of her residence where she is being held under house arrest. This also indicates that the rulers have let her out to please the USA, say the analysts. Clad in Burmese traditional dress, Suu Kyi looked cheerful and talked joyfully with the media.
