Sri Lanka's Chief of Defence Staff, General Sarath Fonseka

Director General of Sri Lanka Immigration and Emmigration confirmed that Former Army commander and of present Chief of Staff for all armed forces in Sri Lanka has safely return to Sri Lanka from US.

President Mahinda Rajapakshe has directed to safeguard the dignity and office of the General Sarath Fonseka says Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka.

US has asked from General Sarath Fonseka to be a part of investigating for alleged breaching of HR against to Sri Lanka's defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe. Gotabaya Rajapakshe is a brother of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakshe.

While his visit to US General Sarath Fonseka highly criticised the Government of Sri Lanka saying Sri Lanka is leading to wrong way after it has released from Tiger terrorists after decades of war with a uncountable dedication of armed forces. He emphasized that he will be not hesitate to remove his uniform for the public benefits.

After this controversiol speech US governement showed his will to use General Sarath Fonseka as a eveidence against to the defence secratary.Sri Lanka goverment took high concern about this step of US government and oppose to the attempt made by the US government.

Yesterday Sri Lanka governement announced that it has arraenged general Sarath Fonseka's immidiate return to the home country.
