It's never easy to accurately describe what the kooks at MoveOn are up to, even when they want you to know. They have a petition calling for "all democrats to stay off of Fox News for as long as Obama does". Fair enough. So I looked for some evidence that Obama has announced a boycott of Fox News. Nothing.
Sure, Rahm Emmanuel said that said Fox was "not a news organization," and David Axelrod said it was "not really a news station." But they are just saying that to prevent further ratings comparisons between Fox, CNN and MSNBC. Obviously if CNN and MSNBC support Obama mania, but more people watch Fox beat on Democrats, then Fox shouldn't be considered fair competition. Fox must be cheating, or maybe the White House (wishes) thinks Fox is competing with the Playboy Channel, who knows. As a note, Fox News usually has as many viewers as CNN, MSNBC, Headline News and CNBC. COMBINED.
In spite of MoveOn.org, Obama and the democrats are going to continue to "appear" on Fox all day, every day; and they'll get trashed. The brain trust at MoveOn just wants the democrats to stop taking the opportunity to defend themselves. They must have a lot of faith in the persuasive powers of their liberal ideas and think the best way to win hearts and minds is by hiding under a (environmentally sensitive, taxpayer financed, European approved, uninsurable) desk.
Just to keep this posting fair and balanced, I need to point out that ever since that walking embodiment of a human skull Alan Colmes left Hannity & Colmes, the new Hannity show sucks ass. Hannity is only capable of making about two points in his 20 hours of TV and radio broadcasts each week, and he just repeats them over and over. Clever Sean. Clever Sean. Clever Sean.
