Is Chimps As Smart As Human ?

If you think you are smarter than a chimp you are wrong. A study conducted in Japan recently proved the fact that the Chimps are smarter than humans. It was Chimpanzees versus College kids. A 5-year-old Chimp managed to beat college kids during this challenge! Researcher Tetsuro Matsuzawa proved the fact that humans are inferior to chimps. The memory challenge was something like this: Nine numbers were displayed on the computer screen. Upon touching the first number the other eight turned to white squares.

The goal of the test was to successfully touch all the white squares in the sequence of numbers that used to be there. The results proved that the chimps had similar accuracy when compared to humans. But, they had a better speed. In the second test, the researchers included the Chimp Ayumu (who aced the previous test) and nine others.

When the numbers were displayed at seven tenth of a second, the chimp and college students had similar results. However, when the same numbers were displayed for four-tenths to two-tenths of a second, the Chimp championed the test. Researchers admired the chimp’s ability during these tests.
