Microsoft announced today that they will be laying off another 800 workers, on top of the 5,000 that they announced last January. Lou Gellos, a Microsoft spokesman, said the cuts are being made in offices around the globe, and did not say which groups would be included in the cuts. No word as well on if any additional contractors or venders that Microsoft employees would be cut as well.
