Peshawar, November 04 = Holding white flags Jamaat-e-Isalmi workers on Wednesday organized ‘Peace March’ from Khyber Bazaar to People Mandi where the participants offered Dua for the martyrs of bomb blast and passed a resolution demanding one million compensation for each shopkeeper whose shops was destroyed in the blast.
The participation through the resolution also demanded of the provincial government to pay at least 0.5 million to the hires of each martyr person while the injured must be given Rs 2 Lakhs so they could enable themselves to earn bread for their families. The compensation must be paid within two weeks, the resolution demanded.
Led by central secretary general of JI, Liaqat Baloch the participants started the march with narration of verses of holly Quran and prayed for the departed soul through out their way. Through laud speakers the narration of holly Quran continued while the participants as well as the shopkeepers of Khyber Bazaar, Qissa Kwani, Dalgaran and People Mandi responded to the prayers asking peace for the city.
Addressing participants at blast spot, JI central general secretary Liqat Baloch said the pro US policies had turned Pakistan in to war zone however the e rulers were unable to feel the danger and withdraw support from US war.
After becoming front line ally, Baloch said Pakistan had lost a lot and only the Pakistani nation was paying the price for the war which only benefiting America and causing destruction to Pakistan.
US, he said was now seeking ways to leave Afghanistan and had started dialogue with Taliban but it had involved Pakistan in war which could not be ended until and unless Pakistan end its support to the so-called war on terror.
Baloch said though US was planning to convert Pakistan in to a secular and fail state but Pakistani nation, who were staunch supporters of Islam will never allow America to successfully implement its agenda.
On this occasion JI NWFP chief Professor Ibrahim said rulers had deployed ‘battalions’ of police on VVIP security and left the public insecure as they were loosing their lives in this war. If they can not provide security which was their prime responsibility then had no right to rule, JI NWFP chief observed.
Professor condoled with the bereaved families and announced JI through Al-Khidmat Foundation will try level best to compensate the affectees and distribute cash amount among them.
