I recieved an e-mail this afternoon inviting me to the Chattanooga Film Commission first friday breakfast and it is as follows:
I wanted to let you know that there will be an open film commission meeting this Friday (see below). You had sent an e-mail to the Commission inquiring about getting involved. This would be a great opportunity for you to speak with Missy Crutchfield, the Administrator in charge of the Film Commission and other members and to hear about what is happening. There are several committees in the commission. The only criteria on becoming involved with one or more of them is to say which you are interested in. I hope you will be able to attend. If you are not able to attend, and even if you are, please feel free to call me with any questions you have about the commission.
Sincerely ,

I thought this was very cool as I had submitted my bio and resume to them just last week, this will give me an opportunity to network with working professionals in the film industry in the Chattanooga area approximately 40 miles from my home in Calhoun, Georgia to make contacts to possibly secure funding, cast, crew etc for my own film projects, no longer having to depend on the sharks in Hollywood.
