Dancing with the Stars - Week 7 Results

The results show for week 7 of “Dancing with the Stars” opened with an encore performance from Team Tango – Joanna and Derek, Donny and Kym, and Kelly and Louis.

Colbie Callet and Grammy Award winning rock legend Rod StewartRod Stewart previewed songs from their new albums; while “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancers Mark Ballas and Derek HoughDerek Hough – Ballas Hough – sang for the first time. Usually when musicians perform some of the professional dancers also perform, but with Mark and Derek performing there was no need for their fellow dancers because the guys provided their own dance moves while they sang.

Despite earning the first 10 of the season from Len and topping the leader board after the solo dances, Aaron and Karina found themselves in the bottom three; along with Michael and Anna, and Mark and Lacey (who returned tonight).

Football star Michael IrvinMichael Irvin and Anna Demidova were the first couple to be eliminated leaving Mark and Lacey and Aaron and Karina to fight it out in the dance off.

Mark and Lacey took to the floor first performing a Cha Cha Cha that judges agreed was top notch with Bruno adding that Mark had turned more tricks than Heidi Fleiss.

Aaron and Karina followed with a second Jive (different from last night) that had judges praising the performance saying it was better than the first Jive.

In the dance off only the judges decide which couple will be eliminated. After the dance off judges saved Aaron and Karina who will be joined by Donny and Kym, Joanna and Derek, Kelly and Louis, and Mya and Dmitriy next week for a chance at the semi-finals.

Next week each couple will have to perform two solo dances.
