As the search continues for the 3 women that have been missing since Sunday evening reports of sightings are starting to come in. They are reported to have been seen to the North near Killdeer.
Killdeer is a town of around 700 people that is 35 miles North of the Dickinson University on Highway N Dakota 22N. A brief phone call from the women mentioned they were near water. Their father also stated the women like to stargaze near lakes.
The largest lake near Killdeer is Lake Sakakawea, an easy drive to the NorthEast. This lake is quite long with many remote areas. A closer lake, just a couple of miles from Killdeer to the East but not nearly as large.
We can only pray that the women are found quickly to be safe.
