As we all know, Abdullah Abdullah withdrew his name from the runoff election that was supposed to happen on November 7th. Therefore, President Hamid Karzai remains president of Afghanistan. The reason Abdullah stated on why he chose not to continue was because the runoff vote would have divided the country. What? The country has always been divided and will perpetually be divided between the various tribal factions of the land. However, Pres. Karzai has done absolutely nothing in seven years to mend the fences between tribal leaders within his tenure as Afghani President. What makes anybody think that he will all of a sudden be able to ensure that Afghanistan can have a stabilized government when his association with corruption is evident by the first election that was rigged and by the fact that his brother is a known drug lord that is on the CIA payroll.

Why should Pres. Karzai get a free pass? The people of Afghanistan deserve to have an election. How about this scenario? I'll run against Karzai! I would be able to bring stability to the land by negotiating with all of the tribal leaders of the land to bring about civility. I would also put an end to the discrimination and the abuse of women within Afghanistan. All offenders would be put to justice. I am not joking; I am extremely serious because short people are revered in Middle Eastern cultures; I would win in a landslide. Let your voice be heard by the Afghani government. Send all requests for me to run against Pres. Karzai to this link: http://www.mcit.gov.af. This link will send you to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Afghanistan. Click the 'Contact Us' link at the top of the screen to petition for me to run against Pres. Karzai. (My real name is on my profile page.) If enough people choose to stand up for democracy and send in their petitions, then we can change world history one person at a time. Thank you all for reading this!

I agree with you, but I think many people those countries are too afraid to stand up.

I know that. That is why I am willing to step up if given the opportunity by others to petition the Afghani government.
