Karzai’s supporters are gathering at the Herat Stadium today to celebrate his re-election as the President of Afghanistan. On the other side an other possible gathering to celebrate the re-election of Hamid KarzaiHamid Karzai is expected in Taluqan City, apparently at the public park closed to the Taluqan City municipality. The road through Taluqan-Kunduz-Faizabad has been closed temporarily due to a high-profile meeting taking place in the city centre. The purpose of the gathering seems to be celebrating the declaration of the incumbent President as the winner of the 2ND Afghanistan Presidential Election.
