This might be a first-of-its kind for Bulgaria. An 11-year old schoolgirl in bridal dress had to be rushed to the hospital to deliver her baby. The 19-year old father was a mere spectator! The story goes that the boy had rescued the girl from a bunch of bullies and, their friendship made her conceive within a week. The girl admits her ignorance of sex, condoms and even pregnancy. Her grandmother was the first to notice her physical condition – the poor girl blamed her putting on weight, as she explained it, to an increased intake of burgers!!! The mother and baby are fine but the father might have to go to prison for having sex with a minor.

What? 11 year old impregnated by a 19 year old?
Are you actually surprised that this has happened and been brought to your attention??? The atrocities on this planet being committed against children are endemic and happening as you read this. Some girls are being impregnated by their own fathers, held captive in basements and raped repeatedly by the male family members resulting in, yes, babies of incest. I am not judging you by your comment, I just wish I lived in a society where people didn't behave so abhorrently against innocents and it seems to be quite an everyday occurrence.
well folks - the mother is ecstatic, the father is brooding and the baby is tasting a new life ... she will certainly raise the baby ... in ancient bengali customs, 11-year old mothers were quite common, of course the elders in the families had to chip in with necessary advice and guidance where required...

I know when you hear the age of the young girls having babies it just sounds unbelievable.But i can top this one!I did an artcle on teen pregnancy.And while doing my homework i came across an article which said.5 year-old pregnant!She had been having regular periods since the age of three.According to her doctor,Escomel,she had an extraordinary hormonal disorder of the (pituitary glands).This happened back in 1939!
