AFTER THE BIRTHDAY PARTY.

Everybody left end of the twenty first, My wife's brother and Sister in-law went off through the night, but their son, Riko was so drunk from the Fundador that he couldn't get up to go with his parents to the bus stop. He was very lazy when he got up Thursday morning and since the plasterer came to continue his job doing the fine finishing on the walls in my office and sleeping quarters, my wife set her nephew to work helping with the cementing to earn his living instead of expecting everything for nothing.

That continued until Saturday when they knocked off until Monday. Sunday was peaceful, but ever since my birthday, the internet was playing up disconnecting me and displaying network timeout all the time. The news people and the weather bureau kept reporting another typhoon but I called it a lot of crap because we had no rain since the evening before my birthday and whenever there's a tropical depression building up, they start scaring the people by reporting non existent typhoons that may only turn out to become a local thunderstorm and nothing else.

Monday morning I went to the city and drew out only ten thousand pesos since we needed cement for the floor. Two men came this time, the older guy checked the floor area and started cementing and tiling my office one bit at a time. They don't use cement glue for tiles like it's done in Australia but stick the ceramic floor tiles straight on the cement.

Two rows were done in the middle of the floor leaving the wall area for last and they moved into the bedroom to work there. My bed and everything had to be moved out to the middle roon and was put parallel to my wife's bed but I didn't like it because I was crowded in very badly.

Tuesday morning I was back on the computer as ussual and the tiling continued on all day until they finished at the end of the day. I had to sleep in the crowded condition for an extra night, but I got a surptize in the afternoon. The telecom company Cruztelco phoned me and asked me to come and sign a document for the new internet.

They have upgraded the internet and if you sign the form, you save hundred pesos, equivalent to $5.00 per month. I told them I would be down tomorrow morning to do that because I wanted to take advantage of it. Where it was before 880 pesos per month, approximately $20.00, it is now 770 pesos per month. I had to go to town Wednesday morning October 28 again anyway since I had to draw another ten thousand pesos for expenses.

When I went down on Monday, I had all my photos of my father's funeral scanned in at the internet also because I will display them on Allvoices in time to come. I just don't have much time to do anything lately. I signed the form and left but I was called back because the woman who got me to sign lost her biro. She asked, have you got my ball pen? No I only got my own that I used to sign the document. She misplaced her pen in a draw without thinking and they all laughed about it.

My wife went out for more cement and tiles and she deposited money to the bank of Gemelyn our daughter who was doing her board exams. She finished her exams and wanted to come home because there was no more to do and no reason to continue her stay in the boarding house. I telephoned her and told her to go to her bank and draw the money because it's already deposited. You can come home now I said, and our office and quarters are now finished, you will love it when you see it.

The floor was grouted this day and I moved my bed and some things back to my area because I was glad to get my toom back. Gemelyn bought herself a ticket for the ferry and began her journey home the same night. She traveled most of the night and came home at approximately 4:00 am. I woke twenty minutes later and heaard her voice. I went out and gave her a kiss to welcome her home and told her, our quarters are ready. I'll help you move the computer back in the morning she said and I went back to sleep. Next, I'll make the report about moving back to the office.
