You know sometimes a reporter asks a good question and the person getting interviewed gives a great answer.

This morning on Meet The Press, David Gregory asked the Secretary of State, Timothy Geithner “Do you want to see AIG to be successful?”

Geithner paused for a millisecond and said that he wants AIG to be successful enough on its own so that the taxpayer can get out.

Gregory then asked, “And after that you don’t care what happens?”

Geithner says, “No.”

Excellent answer. Says a lot.
