this does happen a bit more often than you would think. the first time i heard of it was a man that committed suicide by hanging himself in his front yard around halloween. it took people a while to realize it wasn;t a decoration.
recently i heard about a man who who show himself in the head on his balcony and everybody thought it was a very gruesome decoration until it started to smell.
i guess the morbidity of halloween gave these suicidal people a push in that direction.
