Obama,Palestine and Israel
Palestinians reacted with concern over the Sunday comments by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton supported Israel's position calling for the resumption of negotiations without stopping settlement.
presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina told AFP that "the U.S. administration backtracked on their promise and failed to meet their obligations, especially as stated in the letter of President Barack Obama at the University of Cairo when he demanded a complete halt to settlement." He also added "The Palestinian side now facing extreme right-wing Israeli government and have influence in the United States more than its influence inside Israel."
By the way there are an estimated 300 thousand Israeli settlers in West Bank settlements and about 200 thousand in East Jerusalem, which Israel captured and annexed in 1967, but the international community has never been accepted annexation and settlement is illegal
