What happened to Halloween?

I agree! I loved finding stuff around the house and being creative and making a cool costume.

Yup, I totally agree there was barely any kids out this year, well atleast barely any came down my cul-de-sac.

Definitely, the children of today's society are slowly losing the creativity that was kept a light in the good old days. We need to fix this!

I totally agree.I think football costume is nothing to do with the Halloween unless his a football player zombie.Lol It's true that now a days the old tradition is fading away.I think the parents are also getting lazy with it.

I also noticed a lack of creativity and a lack of enthusiasm this year. It probably has a lot to do with the bad economy and high unemployment. However, you can't expect every kid to go all out with it. A football jersey may not be all that creative, but maybe that's what the kid wanted to be. As long as they're having fun, it's all good.

Amen! My kids made their costumes this year and a nice little sub division right behind an elementary school had a total of 4 houses that handed out candy. they still had fun, but i was seriously disappointed in the neighborhood. bring the old halloween spirit back!

I agree. It seems to me Halloween is one of the most saturated holidays this side of Christmas.

There Is No More Creation, Everybody wants an easy takeaway Costume..
