…But the Great Game goes on. Some new empires will rise; some of them will not endure for too long. For the Common People there’s no difference. No one will play a Fanfare for The common people, for us, … Besides, there’s some room for hope. Small groups of Earth villagers will join in groups bigger and broader than the current main gamers. People united with a common interest, leaving the bigotry for the Others, they will stand for the next renaissance… For now we are in a New Dark Era, and just like the old and original Medieval Times (the good ones), we will see the formation of a new geopolitical map. Wars for resources, for power, or to be plain and simple, just for money –as usual-, will be a common place to talk –or suffer-; however, the battlefields will shift traditional locations, moving from far regions to our closest neighborhoods. The people will die every day, but not for a single bullet with his or her name on it, but for starvation, transgenic contamination, drown for a non-existing global warming, bad credit, medical costs, media pollution in the form of lethal combinations of soap operas and lack of common sense. Indeed, the new ammo for those wars will kill people as usual. Some things will never change… And When All the Laughter Dies in Sorrow, what we will find in the middle of the cosmic ashes? That you and me, all of us, played a quite big and stupid game for nothing, unless…
