Farooq Gani puts all Muslim J&K Journalists under scanner, embarrassment

JAMMU, OCT 30: A newspaper scribe of Jammu and Kashmir State Farooq Ganai who at present is in Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC) for having links with Pakistan’s ISI and militants organizations has placed the Muslim Journalists of Jammu and Kashmir state under scanner and now they have are being tagged as ISI agents and anti nationals. Let me start with the embracement which I faced today while in office. A newsman namely Major Kulbeer, ( was earlier in Army) working in a Jammu based newspaper office I am working as Managing Editor (ME) today evening said, “I have managed to put Farooq Gani in JIC and now it is your turn.” We have doubts on all the Muslims living in India.” The words he uttered this evening clearly send a clear message to the entire Muslim journalists particularly those working in the state of Jammu and Kashmir that they are being seen with a different eye having doubts about their working and credentials. If such things are going on and are being manipulated behind the curtains than it is clear that the credibility of Muslim journalist in Jammu and Kashmir is not good inside and they are being seen as enemy agents or so. The motive of this brief massage is to give a wakeup call to all those journalists in the state who are in deep slumber and working hard in a professional way.
