JAMRUD: Security forces shot injured two people violating curfew, while twenty-two others, including Afghan nationals were arrested during the search operation in Shah Kas area of Jamrud Tehsil on Friday, officials said.
Sources said two tribals, named Salih Muhammad and his brother Bakhtair were shot injured when they were, in their car, on their way to home in Shah kas during the curfew times, hence, they were rushed to hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, security forces in Shah Kas area of Jamrud subdivision arrested twenty-two suspects and seized a bulk of heavy and light weapons during the search operation, officials’ sources said.
Two back the land forces, gunship helicopters were circling in air on Shah Kas for all the day to monitor the militants and miscreants’ movement in the area.
The search operation was in progress for the day when a man was deprived of his car while coming to home from Karkhano Markets Bazaar, sources said. Haroom Kokikhel,resident of Takhta Baig was on his way from Karkhano Market to home when some gunmen in an other car intercepted him some two-hundred yards west from the Takhta Baig check post and snatched his car, sources said. The driver, Haroon, was dragged out of his car on gunpoint and leaving behind. Case against unknown gunmen was later registered in Jamrud Tehsil.
