Abbas will not do it again
A Palestinian official said on Tuesday that President Mahmoud Abbas told U.S. President Barack Obama that he will not seek re-election in the presidential election unless Israel for its refusal to freeze the settlements.
The official, who asked not to be named, said Abbas told Obama "that he would not be a candidate in presidential elections (which take place in January) unless Israel commits to the requirement of this peace."
