Minister for finance Shaukat Tarin has assured that the provinces would be given their due share under the 7th national finance commission award.
Briefing newsmen at the conclusion of NFC award meeting in Peshawar today, he said the provinces properly presented their suggestions and recommendations regarding next NFC award. He said the distribution of resources horizontally and vertically was discussed in detail and the representatives of the provinces and federation reached a consensus in this regard. The next meeting of the commission will be held in Karachi on the 18th and 19th of next month.
