Milk Consumption of Indonesia Peoples's Low

Milk Consumption of Indonesia peoples is still low with an average of seven litres per person for one year. Largest contribution comes from the Jakarta City citizens with milk consumption 22.3 liters for one year.

"Jakarta citizens largest consuming milk. It means other areas are lower," says Indonesia nutritionist, Rienani Mahadi.

According to Rienadi, total milk consumption of Indonesia peoples has increased over 10 years ago that only four liters. But still no better than milk consumption of Malaysian citizens who reach 23-30 liters per person a year.

She said, the low milk consumption of Indonesian population, because most people think milk is the only food for babies toddlers.

    I thought that Muslims were required to drink milk. Different texts talk about the different benefits of goat's milk and things of that nature.

    In Indonesia, the most popular of milk consumption is cow's milk. Indonesia has many dairy farms. However, production is sold to industry.
    And of course, Muslims have to drink milk. to be more healthy and strong:)
