Foo Fighters Play Facebook

Last week Irish rockers U2 took advantage of the internet video site You Tube to broadcast a live feed for fans to see the band at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. The event drew some 10 million viewers to the site.
On Friday night, October 30, the Foo Fighters are planning to broadcast an hour concert live on Facebook - www.facebook.com/foofighters.
The Foo Fighters will broadcast from Studio 606 - the band's home base in Northridge. The Facebook broadcast is set to begin at 7pm Pacific Time (2am GMT). So far over 7,000 fans of the band have sent an RSVP that they will be watching the show.
